Léon Grosse

Versailles, France

Due to its growth, the over 140-year-old French construction company has moved into a new building at its headquarters in Versailles. A call for tenders was issued for the design of the work environment, and Vitra was selected for the job – thanks to its highly detailed planning illustrated with realistic mock-ups as well as the quality of its products.

The resulting varied office landscape covers 3500 square metres and features 250 workstations, meeting rooms, a boardroom, break corners, zones for informal interactions, reception area, cafeteria and outdoor space. Every employee can always find the place best suited to their respective tasks – even in the entrance area, where they are welcomed by a large Soft Work installation, the sofa-based office seating system by Vitra.
