Ronald McDonald Kinderfonds

Brussels, Belgium

McDonald's has been promoting the health and well-being of children through its Ronald McDonald Houses for over forty years. The first opened in Philadelphia, USA in 1974. There are now more than 330 Ronald McDonald Houses worldwide. When furnishing the first house in Belgium, the Ronald McDonald Kinderfonds was looking for sponsors willing to contribute in some form or another.

With the Vitra Circle Stores, Vitra has developed a shop concept that gives used furniture from Vitra and Artek a second life in the interest of sustainability. The Vitra Circle Store in Brussels supplied Eames Plastic Chairs at a net price to furnish the offices, canteen and bedrooms in the Ronald McDonald House. The chairs contribute to the appealing atmosphere of the individual spaces.
