Launching in September 2024:
Anagram Sofa

Anagram is the sofa solution that cleverly embodies current lifestyle changes. This is achieved through its comfort, engineering, functionality and aesthetics: the same hallmarks that typify all Vitra products.

Key features at a glance

Anagram is more than just a sofa: it is a family made up of a few modules and elements that can be used to quickly respond to the needs of the moment as well as major life changes.

Click & play

Anagram adapts to everyday life: the platform modules are designed as islands that can be combined with other modules on all four sides and fitted with elements such as backrests, side panels and attachable tables. This enables countless configurations, which can be easily modified time and again to suit new needs.

Exchange & renew

Anagram's fabric covers are easy to remove for cleaning or replacement. All components are completely separate from other materials – nothing is glued, laminated or foamed. This means that these can be easily separated at the end of the product's life and recycled again or correctly disposed of.

Sink in & relax

Anagram's large seat cushions offer pleasant comfort whether for sitting, lounging or enjoying a cosy nap – at home, in the office or in public spaces. The upholstered panels can be positioned to best suit the respective situation.

Impressions from Copenhagen: 3daysofdesign

The new Anagram Sofa was shown for the first time during 3daysofdesign from 12 to 14 June 2024 at the Vitra showroom in Copenhagen.

Meet the designers:
Panter&Tourron

Anagram marks Vitra's first collaboration with the Italian-French designer duo Panter&Tourron. Working at the intersection of design, technology and society, Stefano Panterotto and Alexis Tourron have dedicated much of their research to exploring future modes of sustainable housing and living. In the process they observed that many boundaries – such as those between the home and office segments – are becoming increasingly blurred.
'Anagram is not just a comfortable sofa. It is a flexible lounge system that can be easily adapted to changing needs within seconds.'
Panter&Tourron
When offered the challenge by Vitra to design a sofa solution fit for the next 30 years, their research led them to develop a flexible lounge system able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of future working and living.
