SUSI Partners
Zurich, Switzerland
Having grown significantly since its founding in 2009, the fund management company specialising in investment opportunities related to the global energy transition decided to move to a new location: an entire floor in a building at the newly developed 'Greencity' site in Zurich. Greencity is the first district in Switzerland to fulfil the three main energy and climate objectives of the so-called '2000-Watt Society', a concept originally developed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich): 2000 watts of continuous primary energy per person (energy efficiency), zero energy-related greenhouse gas emissions (climate neutrality) and 100% renewable energy supply (sustainability).
When looking for a partner to plan the new offices, they found one that shares these same values: Vitra. Vitra's Consulting and Planning Studio (CPS) team was commissioned to plan an office environment that promotes collaboration and exchange and thereby has a positive influence on the productivity of its teams. The result is an open office landscape in which room-within-a-room systems and mobile room dividers, such as Dancing Wall, ensure that layouts can be tailored to the needs of the teams, allowing employees to freely choose their preferred working environment.
